Centered Clay Artist Technique Series Presents: 

Kintsugi - Beauty in the Broken with Alison Begala 

Kintsugi is the practice of repairing broken ceramics while embracing the philosophy of wabi-sabi. Through this workshop, students will explore the definition of beauty and learn an ancient tradition of piecing together broken parts of a clay object. This method requires time, patience, a careful hand and introspection. The workshop will take multiple days to complete.

Who? Teens (16+) and adults  Recommended for advanced beginners to intermediate potters who wish to explore beyond the making stage.

When? You'll attend 3 sessions: Friday, July 11th, 6-9 pm; Friday July 18th, 6-8 pm; and Sunday, July 20th, 1pm - 3:30 pm

Cost: $150.00 for the workshop plus $85.00 materials fee. You will use authentic materials from Japan, including precious metals.

Cancellations up to March 14th will be refunded 94% of the class fee.
Cancellations within 7 days of the start of class will be refunded 50%
No refunds after the first week.

We require a minimum of 5 students for a class. We will notify you within 2 days of the class start and refund 100% of the price if we cannot hold a class.
